Option 1 — Delete in the app
The fastest way, available any time you're signed in:
- Open Justly and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Type
DELETEto confirm.
This immediately disables your account, removes your device push token, signs you out, and triggers erasure of your personal data from our systems. Any locally stored data on your device is wiped at the same time.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email rovifyinc@gmail.com from — or naming — your account email address, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify the request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain (see below).
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we erase the personal data Justly holds about you, including:
- Account details — your name, email address, hashed password, and user ID.
- Legal questions and AI conversations — everything you sent to "Ask Justly" and the resulting conversation history.
- Complaints and case details — the description, category, and facts of any matter you opened, and the relief you sought.
- Case messages — the private messages you exchanged with an assigned lawyer.
- Evidence — photos, files, and documents — every file you uploaded to a case from your camera or photo library.
- Device push token — the FCM/APNs identifier used to send you notifications.
- Local app data — anything cached on your device is wiped when you delete from inside the app.
What may be retained, and why
We delete your personal data, but a narrow set of records may be kept where the law requires it. Because Justly handles legal matters, case records and evidence tied to an active or recently concluded matter may be retained for a reasonable period to meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to legal work — for example, where a court proceeding or a lawyer's professional obligations require the file to be preserved. Where this applies, the records are kept only for as long as legally necessary and remain confidential and access-restricted. Everything not subject to such an obligation is erased.
Confidentiality
Your complaints, evidence, and the messages you exchange with a lawyer are sensitive and, in some contexts, may be subject to legal professional privilege. Throughout — including during and after deletion — we treat this material as confidential and limit access to you and your assigned lawyer. We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
